We are passionate about our honey which we take from bees which forage along the Lynher Valley in Cornwall. Using honey as a natural source of sweetness, we make a range of mustards. We also make jellies, chutneys, jams, preserves, and marmalades. All are hand crafted in small batches (usually 20-25 jars) at Berrio Mill with as many Cornish ingredients as we can find.

As far as possible we make our produce from fruit and vegetables that are grown locally to us. We run a local cooperative with our neighbours, who may have a glut of strawberries, blackcurrants, apples, pears, marrows, tomatoes, etc. So a couple of boxes of apples could be exchanged for a jar of Tarragon Mustard or Apple Mint Jelly. We also grow our own fruit and vegetables and source from local growers and suppliers in Cornwall.

As each batch is made in small quantities, using only the finest ingredients, quality is assured at all times. We use no artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives to make our produce. When developing new products, we carry out trials with our neighbours who have now become very critical about the taste, texture and overall appearance of what we produce. Nothing escapes their keen sense of quality. Despite approaches from large retailers, we are determined to remain small and keep our outlets as local as possible.
